A few Homemade cleaner recipies:
Glass cleaner:
Ingredients:
1 cup rubbing alcohol
1 cup water
1 tablespoon vinegar
Instructions: Combine and spray on glass for a great clean. Pretty simple, and it is very effective.
Hard Water Calcium Remover:
Ingredients:
Up to 1 cup Water
1 tablespoon citric acid powder
Instructions: Heat water and mix in citric acid. Works great for cleaning mineral deposits from hard water in humidifiers, coffee makers, irons, and more. The solution can be placed directly on the area requiring cleaning. Works a LOT faster than vinegar and without the harsh smell. You can put it directly into the coffee maker or iron and run it through as long as everything has been dissolved. For coffee makers, use a mild baking soda solution to neutralize it (1 tsp soda + 1 cup water), and then one cup of plain water. This will make sure there the coffee taste isn’t affected.
